Hymnal
"Big Love: Hymnal" is the title of one of the two David Byrne albums scheduled for release in 2008. In consists of music composed for the second season of the HBO television drama Big Love. Devo's Mark Mothersbough composed the soundtrack for the series first season. the CD will be released on August 19, 2008. The album includes a cover of the popular song "Blue Hawaii" among other recent compositions, as stated on the album cover.

Byrne has written on his journal that it is not "a pop record by any stretch" but he's proud of it.
