2006 - My Life in the Bush of Ghosts (extended) Print
Sunday, 03 August 2008 14:42

The original version of "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" came out in 1981. Since its release, hundreds of artists in genres ranging from DJs to alternative to electronic have all borrowed from its ideas and claimed its influence. The reissue of this groundbreaking record in 2006 marked the records 25th anniversary.

The new edition comes in a new package with new artwork and contains a booklet with extensive liner notes and photos. The CD features 7 previously unreleased tracks from the original album sessions and the short film "Mea Culpa" by influential artist Bruce Conner.
Despite all bonus material, this new edition lacks the original album track "Qu'Ran", as well as the original "Jezebel Spirit" with the (still) uncleared Katharine Kuhlman samples.
