Launched back in 1994 as one of the internet's first fan-initiated websites, the popular tribute site for the band Talking Heads has recently launched it's 6th installment.

The site chronicles the history of the legendary New York punk rock/new wave band, from their early days at the Rhode Island School of Design to their recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Detailed, expanded information can be found on all Talking Heads-related projects, celebrating over three decades of ground-breaking musical works, films, art and solo projects.

What originally began as a humble tribute site, quickly grew to become a primary resource for fans, publicists, trivia seekers and journalists. It is now recognized as the band's official site. The popular message board (called "Heaven", after the 1979 Talking Heads song) has been upgraded to a dynamic new format, allowing participants from around the world to meet and discuss topics not only with each other, but also with former band members who use the site as a platform to interact directly with their fans and discuss projects both new and old. promotes a creative, innovative culture true to the spirit of the band. In 2004 the site released a tribute CD, "Don't Worry About the Cover Band", containing covers of Talking Heads songs recorded by regular visitors.

Since the release of site 1.0, a lot of people helped growing into what it has become. Specials thanks go out to -in no particular order- : Oliver Evilord, Silvia Albertazzi, Vassilis Statholpoulos, Simon Robinson, Christa Wessel, Cyberyukon, Gerson Koenig, Lori Kern, Agneta Hansson, Cole D. Robinson and trAC/DC.

And last but not least, thanks to Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth, Jerry Harrison and David Byrne for their brilliant idea of forming a band in the mid-70s. My suggestion? Do it again!
