Nice to see Strange Overtones in the list.

The brass opened up so many opportunities for songs he hasn't played in a long time...songs from Uh-oh for example. Cmon David bring out your solo songs and drop the same old TH tracks!
Howdy-do? This is Peter McCalister, the FATHER. I'd like a hotel room,
please, with an extra-large bed, a TV, and one of those little
refrigerators that you have to open with a key. Credit card? You got it!

Really looking forward to the show at the Beacon in NYC this Tues. I was checking out you tube vids from last week...looks kinda interesting...i guess. Its hard to make the horn section "flow" on stage though.I gotta tell ya though...Oedepus has it right! "Lazy", "Road to nowhere", "Burning down the house", "Naive melody"'mon, it's time to bring out Davids solo material. Every tour he has done in the past 10-15 yrs. is a combination of his current material and the fore-mentioned four songs....oh...and "Take me to the river"...can't forget that one!

As for Annie, I cant wait to hear her voice live...that's gonna be a special treat. David and her together is going to be spectacular. I saw a set list from the tour opener and they opened the show with "Who". I was hoping to hear that as a encore or in the middle of the show, but NOT as an opening song.

I'm also really looking forward to the finished version of, "Here Lies Love" this spring. I saw David a couple of years ago at Carniege Hall and the music was amazing. He is just such an amazing talent it's always a treat to see him live. See you at the Beacon-
