And here begins a record of altered frames from the movie.

At around 6 mins 43 secs, for ONE FRAME ONLY, someone has definitely drawn pointy things coming out of (or going into) Tina's eyes. This isn't as clear as I remember which means either there is a better example elsewhere or the antipsycotic drugs I was on at the time had more than the desired effect!

Once you know it's there you can see it even at normal speed!

Could it just be damaged '80s celluloid? Then again I heard the PP folks for SMS later got gigs working for the Mouse...and yall have heard about the penises and all others kinds of crazy stuff in Disney cartoons, right?

It's there clear as day right at the start of Heaven! I checked on my PALM DVD release.

I think it's too much of a coincidence that any damage would appear exactly where her eyes are, and I'm pretty certain that there are other examples later in the film (when I've got time I'll find them). If the staff did go on to Disney then nothing would surprise me.

Speaking of the VHS (sorry I haven't managed to go through it yet), mine is different to lots of others I've seen. The 'bonus' tracks are actually in the film rather than being tagged on the end, and the soundtrack at the end of Psycho Killer doesn't have that awful crunching feedback that is on the album (and subsequently the DVD). David's guitar plays a nice little tune instead.

This 'she got the smoke in her eyes' frame is pretty creepy... movie is full of 'all I see it little dots' moments, though nowhere as spooky as in 'Heaven'. Have yet to check the laserdisk... anyone tried the blu-ray yet? (it's still not out in Region B).

amazon.co.uk says about SMS Bloo Rayyy : This title will be released on July 26, 2010. I presume they mean our region (can't remember what that is, couldn't they stick with the numbers as with DVD regions???!!)
OK so it says PAL in the blurb (so it must be the region with the world's ninth largest island, Europe's LARGEST island, Fourth largest economy in the world etc etc. you know what? I think it's region B. Hmmmm)
I'll purchase it in July and report back.
I don't post often these days so I'll take this opportunity to ask why someone who came 3rd in the Genreal Election can be Deputy Dog? Sorry, Deputy Prime Minister?
