Hey zealamb!, thank you very very much for sharing this. I will start downloading it in a few minutes. Someone said on dimeadozen that the quality is superb, so I can't wait to get it. After I do, if anybody wants me to upload to Rapidshare or something let me know. And I see it has "Take Me to the River". Can't wait to listen to that one!

Tha's true - only the second that I've seen on here?

Ok, I will upload it to Rapidshare once I finish downloading it. It will take some time though, the torrent is pretty large (618 Mb.), and after I get it, I have to convert the FLAC's to friendly small MP3 files and then upload... But I think it will be done by tomorow.

Hi everyone,
Here's the Rapidshare link of this show: http://rapidshare.com/files/152849723/D ... 0-2-08.rar
The quality of the MP3 files is- 192 kbps bitrate/44100 Hz. The RAR file is 137 Mb and it has 17 mp3's in it.
Will post the tracklist soon. Haven't heard the entire thing yet, but it has amazing quality, it's great, and I think it's even better than the previous bootleg from this tour (of the first show).
Enjoy!

Here's something for those who don't want to download the whole thing and just want the new track "Never Thought" (really good). I "remastered" it a bit using Goldwave. This new version has higher volume, the bass sounds louder, it has fade in/fade out effect and corrected file tags. The MP3 is 192 kbps, and I uploaded it to several different servers so you can another choose one in case your download fails or something. File is just 6,17 mb. :D

Being a card-carrying member of Dimeadozen among other sites and having amassed a sizeable collection of boots, plus having attended some concerts in London, I have concluded that more concerts are booted in the UK than in the states, percentagewise.

I attended the Asheville concert during the first week of this leg of Byrne’s tour and carefully studied the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium. It is rectangular with a floor and balcony. There is a wide walkway around the balcony at the railing. The first row of seats in the balcony is 2 ½, 3 feet from the railing. Ushers walked up and down this walkway to prevent people from congregating at the railing.

On Sunday, 22 June of this year I attended the Massive Attack final concert of the Meltdown Festival at the Royal Festival Hall in London, and, rather than reveal the precise location, observed an ambient mic dangling from the best location in the room. I knew the concert recording would circulate online… yet was surprised to obtain the Tom Tom Club recording from two evenings previous at the same venue… likely recorded from the same spot.

This is to say that due to the design of the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium, the concert couldn’t be recorded with an ambient mic dangling from the best spot in the room… the recorder, no matter how small, would have been noticed by an usher. Anything less would result in a poor recording. But that never stopped me from searching the online sites, and hoping…

Thanks for posting this! I was at this show but got there late. (The next day DB wrote about people showing up late and I took this personally.) I was in a bad mood to begin with so I'm hoping this recording turns me around on the performance. At the time I found the show very pedestrian. The band, especially the new singers, seemed to be just going through the motions. I'm willing to accept the possibility that it was just me and hope this is the case. I have my fingers crossed that there will be another North American leg to the tour when they get back from Europe. That is his usual MO.

Thanks again.

This weeks obtuse spotting of DB-by proxy:
BBC Radio 4 Today.Comedy sitcom set in Newsagents "Fags,Mags and Bags"
Dialogue twixt (cliche) Asian Shopowner in (cliche) Simpsons Apu voice- and assistant/customer?
"I'm going to the Gay and Lesbian Parade.Everybody is dressing as Toni Basil"
"Who?"
Shopkeeper goes on to voice opening verses of Micky...
"Who?"

Needless to say, I laughed like a drain :|
