Dates are in! There's supposed to be a song as well but the site is down.

I guess I'll have to stay a couple more months in Vancouver...

Website's now working.

Downloaded first song. Sounds great.
I'm incredibly intrigued by this album.

The music is OK, but that promotional photo is horrible!

I love the cover too, I'm not a St. Vincent fan but I'm extremely excited about this release.
The first time I heard the song I was too hyped up and it didn't seem to sink in, then I waited a bit, played it again and bam, I love it!!

If that's the best the album has to offer I'll be passing on this tour, hard to believe I'm saying this but that song doesn't do anything for me

I saw - they're not coming to Vegas, and I'm not driving to L.A., so I guess I'll pass.

Love the new song, but not thrilled with his vocal performance on it. She sounds good though, and hope there are songs with him more in the background. Still, "Who" has a nice beat and I like the woodwind arrangement, it's definitely a DB song. I'm looking forward to the album and show on Oct 12.

First review is here!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/639p

"Potentially, a perfect cerebral pop pairing, but has the end product lived up to expectations?
It would appear, wonderfully, so."

"The album, despite having no obvious overarching theme or plot-line, nevertheless feels like an integrated conceptual piece."

"Love This Giant improves and deepens on each listen. Byrne and Clark have managed to not only meet but exceed expectations, and created one of the year’s smartest albums in doing so."

Optimist is sligthly disappointing, Lightning flat out sucks.

The rest of the record: Really, really great!!

Stand out tracks for me: Lazarus and The one who broke your heart.

Challenging, emotional, powerful.
I love brass music. I love DB and St. Vincent so I won't be very objective here.
I'm really digging this album.

I'm really loving the album. The use of the brass, beats, guitars and voices is great and the songwriting is really strong. I play the tuba, so to hear it used in such a funky and cool way here makes me very excited. Also great to see Byrne in a film clip; can't recall the last time he made one. Anyway, really looking forward to the tour. I love it when Byrne does little speaking bits in the middle of the tunes like 'That's right' etc.

In one of the tracks, Byrne mentions The Vivian Girls.

The Vivian Girls is a massive book written by Henry Dagger, a loner who died after having spent his whole life in the creation of said book. The book itself deals with the adventures of a group of hermaphrodite girls.

This is NOT the first time Byrne references this piece of literature, he mentioned Henry Dagger long ago in a Feelings era interview.

Also, it was a pleasant surprise for me, as an art buff, to find out that Mathew Barney's prosthetics guy was the one behind the work of the album cover. This isn't the first time they cross roads either, Byrne and Barney have been photographed together before!

Just got two tickets to the January 14th show at The Arts Centre here in Melbourne Australia - looking at the seating map, it's selling really fast already. I'm really looking forward to this one.
