Road to Nowhere playing on the Xtra Factor while failed contestant and London cabbie looks for his taxi in a vast underground carpark (and fails at this too).

I heard "Lifetime Piling Up" on the local "Jack FM" station this past weekend. They usually only play the popular songs.

There's a Stop Making Sense Festival in Croatia in a couple of weeks. http://www.sms-2010.com/

It has nothing to do with Talking Heads and it's more of an electronic music festival but the got the name.

yeah. Maybe the bbcs aught to introduce an international licence for oversees users. I'd write and suggest it to them but I'm a libertarian and therefore against state sponsored broadcasting corporations so I'm more inclined to try and irradicate the bbc than help it.

Hey,Nowhereman.Try locating a state sponsored (or otherwise) teacher.Might help with the old spelling issues a tad...

"Maybe the bbcs..." In this instance the word is singular-no 's'. First lesson gratis.

Howdy-do? This is Peter McCalister, the FATHER. I'd like a hotel room,
please, with an extra-large bed, a TV, and one of those little
refrigerators that you have to open with a key. Credit card? You got it!

Backyard treehouse survives Manhattan legal fight

"Though the treehouse is only five years old, Hackett's townhouse is from the 1860s, and she bought it from musician David Byrne of the Talking Heads. The city's Landmarks Perservation Commission decided to grant the treehouse a permit because it's part of a historic landmark district.

The treehouse was started months after she bought the property on West 12th Street from Byrne, a decade-long resident."

I had a touch of the old insomnia last night. So I was watching a biopic of Ted Bundy on the Horror channel into the wee small hours. Towards the films natural conclusion there was some original news footage from outside the jail preceding his execution. A man was holding a sign which read "This ain't no party/This ain't no disco/This ain't no fooling around/Burn baby burn". Such infamy. Odd considering the words from Life During Wartime had the anti-disco slogan which was misinterpreted at the time, within it's lyrics. Coupled with the lyrics from a pretty enormous disco hit. I dunno maybe a touch of irony from the signwriter there?

Also this afternoon, at the supermarket. I caught a trailer for the movie 'Killers' which had Psycho Killler playing in the background. What a startlingly imaginitive use of song -> film title. :D
