Byrne is seeking $1 million in damages from Gov. Charlie Crist, who's also Florida's former Attorney General, and his senatorial campaign for use of the song earlier this year in a website and YouTube ad attacking his then-Republican primary opponent, Marco Rubio. Crist has since changed his campaign and is running as an independent candidate.

I had just given up on the BBC's "I'm in a Rock and Roll Band" and gone into the kitchen when I am almost sure I hear Lauren Laverne put in a word for Tina Weymouth as a bass player!

I had retired early due to ongoing post-op pain (cue weeping violins), and Lone Son burst in to bedroom to announce said observation.Tina and Lauren in the same sentence:Recovery Imminent... :D

"Once in a Lifetime" is played during the last few minutes of "Hot Tub Time Machine" (great comedy film starring John Cusack and a bunch of other funny guys about a hot tub that, in some way, sends them back into the 80's). And the lyrics match the scenes ("and you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife, and you may ask yourself, well, how did I get here?" - it is exactly what happens, but I'm not going to spoil the film for you). Highly recommended.

Spotted no longer -

For years, DB's angels has been the theme song for the POV documentary film series on PBS.

Watching tonight's show, looks like that run has come to an end. :(

"Burning Down the House" in "Revenge of The Nerds" On Sky Comedy channel 1am (as the Jocks burn down their house). Says a lot about me and my lowbrow/highbrow duality. I'll have to watch a bit of The Trial by Franz Kafka to balance out my Karma....maaaaaan.

To be fair the name of this thread is this week's spotting...
It's my first time watching the movie so for me it's a new spotting.
If it's a repeat it shouldn't really matter.
