The Head's unreleased second album.

The band and their music

The Head's unreleased second album.

In Ian Gilchrist's essay included with the Deluxe Edition of Tom Tom Club and Close to the Bone he says:

"Intent on embarking on a second Heads album, they joined forces with trumpeter and vocalist Jimmy Helms of Londonbeat, but by mid-1997 corporate restructuring at MCA spelled the end of The Heads (their second album remains unmixed), and Chris and Tina began writing songs for a new Tom Tom Club album instead."

This was the first I'd ever heard of a seconds Heads album. Does anyone have any more information on it?

This is around 1997 (and not 1978)and Chris, Tina and Jerry were going to make another no talking just head album not TalkingHeads but I guess this was stopped cos I think there was a court case cos DB didn't want them releasing any other albums
