When I think of Grace Jones I think of "Slave to the Rhythm" and a few other nuggets from the '80s. Oh yeah--and the role she played in the Bond movie.

So bring us up to date--what has she been doing over recent years?

Also the 2nd Conan movie, I remember the Ah-nold once said "I never feared anyone until I met Grace Jones." She injured cameraman with her spear during the filming of Conan the Destroyer.

Nobody knows what she really was doing. Except that she mentioned herself she never was really 'gone' she was more underground and doing little things like ..... yeah like what?
It seems she also was filming a bit and she wrote and recorded song for a soundtrack 'Freddie as F.R.07'
Anyway now she is back, with 'Hurricane' a brilliant new CD which is for me the best CD of 2008 :!:
Specially 'Williams Blood' is really good and this time the songs are also written by Grace and she worked again with Sly & Robbie, Brian Eno and her son Paolo.
Grace is back stronger and sexier than ever! :waycool:
Hope to see you soon in LA LA LAND!!!

Her RFH Meltdown show was placed number 3 in the Observer's gigs of the year today.

"Grace Jones - RFH, London 19 June
Later in the year, pop's greatest diva would release an impressive new album and try to snog OMM's Miranda Sawyer. But first came this jaw-dropping performance at Massive Attack's Meltdown. She started with 'Nightclubbing' then slid down a set of steep steps on her bum; camp, scary, sexy, magnificent."

The reviewer obviously didn't see Tom Tom Club. ;)
"Manchester, so much to answer for."
